My journey…
the 90’s
The 90s brought all the awesome hair! Me and my older sister would perm, cap frost and sun in our hair, always trying to have the latest hair and makeup.
After that it expanded to coloring and cutting my friends hair, well those who would let me. I can tell you there were many a towels ruined in my High School days, but luckily only the towels were ruined.
Beauty School
From there I went to Beauty School in 1997, graduated, and fast forward to now 2021, a lot has changed in the beauty industry. I’ve seen things go away and come back but just tweaked a bit.
Professional hairstylist
I love everything about doing hair, but what I love most is that my guests trust me to customize their hair to accentuate their, hair type/texture/density and lifestyle. I love to see their eyes light up when they look at themselves with adoration.
In the last 24 years I have continued my education In many ways, learning from some of the best in the industry, (like Jayne Matthews from EDO Salon for my straight razor custom vintage cuts) learning the “latest” trends and how to do what I see all the celebrity stylists doing, but I think what is mostly important is that I learned the “me” in the hair I do. I found MY way of intuitively customizing hair and now have the confidence to be able to stand in that and feel like I can still do what my guest wants, remain on trend and still be the artist I am, using all my knowledge to make the best decisions on tools, placement, products and more. My passion for education has inspired me to educate others in my ways of cutting hair, I currently hold classes in any space that will have me!
I strive to create not only great hair, but an experience and a connection every time you enter my space.

Other holistic offerings
Along with hair services, I have other holistic offerings that allow me to help benefit my community and liberate the human species from stress and overwhelm that lies unprocessed in the body so that they can become free in their mind.
In October of 2022 I experienced liberation in my own mind and body at a Fit for Service Summit in Sedona Arizona with a group of around 250 people all coming together with a common goal, of freeing ourselves of our fears, shames, grief and scars to be the fullest expression of ourselves, to serve others in the most empathetic way. Since then I acquired my Somatic Breathwork certification with Somatic Release in Austin Texas.
Soma means “body” as it is an organism all by itself, separate from the mind or soul. Our body is like an antennae, constantly sensing and taking in information, to keep up safe in our environment. Very rarely in life does our culture support or provide a safe space where any of our expressions are allowed to come out. Somatic Breathwork provides just that. A safe and secure space, as well as an empathetic witness to support you in your release of your fears, grief, shame and scars.
I am currently offering Somatic Breath Work Ceremonies and I bring the safety and empowerment inside the salon too, by offering to add some Holistic offerings to any of your hair services. I currently have on my menu a “Holistic Haircut” where you can give yourself the gift of peace inside the salon, with a guided meditation, Oracle Card pull, choice of energy or breath work at the shampoo bowl ending with a relaxing massage of the head and neck. Yoga
In addition to hair services in 2012 I expanded my offerings and went to Bali, Indonesia to acquire a 200 hour Yoga teacher training certificate. Since then I have gathered many somatic and holistic certificates that allow me to offer other services, for the holistic benefit of my community, helping to align the individuals outside expression to be one of the inner dreams and desires. I currently offer, Lessons on Somatic Meditation, Yoga in small groups or one on one, and Rose Priestess Reiki.
I am actively teaching Yoga classes weekly at different studios in Walla Walla, as well as holding my own workshops, retreats and events.
