  • Somatic Breathwork is an embodyment experience. It takes you out of your thinking mind and into your body’s electrical network. It lets you release unneeded energy within this network caused by repeating thoughts, feelings and old narratives by discharging it out through your body. By the use of circular connected breathing, coupled with rythmic music to produce a cathartic emotional release. This release may be in the form of moving, shaking, sighing, moaning, yelling, crying, or laughing. Using the breath, you will engage your innate ability to heal and sweep out any defenses, blockages, restrictions or pains that hold you back from who you are and how you want to show up in this world.

  • Yes, breathwork is generally safe for most individuals. Contraindications would be any individuals who are pregnant, have cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, unregulated high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness or epilepsy. However, if you have doubt or concerns, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional before starting a breathwork practice.

  • Breathwork offers various benefits, including stress reduction, improved focus, emotional regulation, increased energy, better sleep, and enhanced immune function.

  • On average our session last one hour. You can check our schedule here for our most current session options.

  • No prior experience is required to try breathwork. As a facilitator, I will guide you through the practice and make it accessible for beginners and experienced individuals alike.

  • During a breathwork session, you can expect a safe and secure environment and to be guided through various breathing techniques. You will be lying down, guided through circular connected breathing, with the use of rythmic music. You may experience sensations of varied kinds, such as tingling in the hands and mouth, feelings of floating, expressions of emotions of all kinds. Ceremonial smells and sounds may be used.

  • While breathwork can have spiritual elements for some individuals, it is a secular practice that focuses on the physical and emotional benefits of conscious breathing.

  • Yes, breathwork can be an effective tool for managing anxiety and stress by releasing stale energy, repetitive thoughts, feelings and old narratives by discharging it out through your body allowing for the activation of the body's relaxation response and promoting a sense of calm.
